1 cup of All Purpose Flour
2 Eggs
1/2 cup of Water
1/2 cup of Milk (It doesn't matter what kind!)
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
2 tablespoons of Melted Butter (salted or unsalted)
Anjou Pears
1 package of Brie
Pecans

*This recipe makes about 5-6 medium size crepes*

Mix the flour and the eggs in a large bowl. Gradually add in the milk and water, and stir really well with a whisk! Add the salt and the melted butter and continue to stir until it is nice and creamy!

Now you have your crepe batter.

When we made these, we used a non-stick pan, but you can always add a little canola/cooking oil to ensure that your yummy crepes don't stick!

You can use a ladle to scoop out your batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin coat. Cook on a medium heat for about two minutes (or until golden) and then flip. You can then proceed to add your toppings.

We decided that brie and pears would be delicious! The pecans were added for a little crunch. All you have to do is chop up the pecans finely, and slice the pears and brie into thin pieces.

Add the toppings onto one half of your still cooking crepe and flip the other side over, so that crepe is shaped like a half moon.

Take off the stove (Of Course), and Enjoy!

Left Over Mexican Night Grilled Cheese

We like to get crafty with our grilled cheeses.
So here is our little recipe on how to whip up a great (and healthy) lunch using last nights mexican dinner.

Ingredients:

  • Guacamole
  • Fresh Bread
  • Cheese of your choosing
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Butter
  • Olive Oil
First things first, butter your bread; both sides. Poor just a bit of olive oil into a pan set to medium and let your bread get golden on just one side and when that looks tasty flip the bread and start piling on your guac, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Place the second bread slice on top and you can flip your sandwich as you please untill golden brown :]
Add some rice and beans and maybe some strawberries for a side and you are ready to eat a great meal!
Enjoy!
:D

Day Time Look.

We paired a fringe top with our DIY pants
because we liked the tribal print look.
We also paired black boots and a series of necklaces.

Night Time Look.

We paired a light flowy shirt with a leather
jacket and leather boots. We added jewelry
and a hat to dress it up.

Day Time Look

In this outfit we played up the denim on denim look with
a cream cardigan and bright pink flats.
We added some fun jewelry and a fringe day time purse.

Night Time Look.

We threw together a velvet top, collared button up, and
pink pearls with studded boots for an edgy night look.

This is a step by step tutorial on how to make cool designs using bleach!
Its an easy DIY, you just need a few open windows and some janky clothes.

Step 3: After finishing with the first pant leg, continue step two onto the next pant leg.

Step 4: Let your pants dry and you have the finished product! You may want to run them through the wash first before you wear them :]

BLEACHING WITH PAINTERS TAPE:

Step 1: Firmly tape down the design of your choice.

Step 2: Spray your design with bleach!

Step 4: Go over the missed spots one last time then carefully remove the tape and reveal your finished product!
